Bacchus, statue , Thracian God of Wine
Youthful, Expression, Fertility and Abundance
Beautiful youthful Dionysus holds the Thysus, a pine-cone tipped staff, which is a symbol often associated with Gods from Greek mythology.
With his long flowing hair held by a vine crown, gentle expression and relaxed pose, young Dionysus symbolises non aggression and fertility. He is also known as disperser of grief and sorrow. He wears a "bassaris" or fox-skin cape, which symbolises new life.
Unabashed Dionysus displays his youthful enthusiasm and joy of life
